We Are One Country
Billy Eisner grew up in a family of musicians. He started on clarinet in 4th grade, then the guitar in the 7 th
grade. He began studying Jazz Saxophone at age 24. He played winds in local community orchestras until
his 3 children grew up. Then he started playing in local bands, some of which are; The Summit Boys,
Still Kickin’, Jonny Neri Band, The Chain of Fools. Billy loves Country music and Bluegrass and is pleased
to be playing in a real Country band.
Sue Marvin KeyBoards/Fiddle grew up with piano lessons, starting in 4th grade. She ventured into jazz around 2004 -- sitting at the grand piano on Big Band projects; playing Friday night swing dances with the band Double Standard. A bit after that, she joined with The Summit Boys, playing organ on the Santana songs; and The Summit Sisters, the all female band and friends of the boys. Moving to the coast in 2009, through the Sand Bar jam, she met many awesome Santa Cruz musicians, and joined forces in several blues / rock 'n roll groups. One special project was Scarlet, featuring her sister Wendy on violin. Sue has taken up the violin, in honor of Wendy, keeping her memory alive. In 2022, Sue joined One Country, playing keyboards and fiddle.
